
Dash Down Division Charity
The Dash Down Division 5K is a community event sponsored by The Salvation Army Kroc Center and Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department. The goal of the race is to raise money to give children from low income families the opportunity to enroll in recreation-based programs and activities.

About The Salvation Army Kroc Center
The Kroc Center is a 105,000-square-foot facility that sits on a 20-acre campus and was created to be an affordable community center encompassing a holistic approach to recreation, worship, arts and education for everyone in the community.
The Kroc Center offers many health and wellness activities that include cardiovascular machines, strength training machines, free weights, an indoor track, aerobics classes, personal training, rowing machines and more. The Kroc Center also offers an aquatics center with lap lanes and a 28-foot water slide, basketball, judo, volleyball, badminton, toddler tumble time, rock climbing, a game room, laptop computers and free Wi-Fi internet access.
